Putting on Make up

Putting on makeup Will Boost Your Confidence

Makeup is a wonderful and easy way to boost your confidence. When you look good, you feel good. Makeup can make a plain woman pretty, a pretty woman beautiful and a beautiful woman glamorous. The main thing to remember is don't over do it. Makeup is designed to enhance your natural features and beauty, to cover up flaws and to give you more confidence. Too much makeup will make you look trashy.

Before putting on makeup, make sure your skin is clean. Start with a thorough cleansing to open up your pores and clean them deep down. Then close your pores. You don't too much foundation clogging your pores, so proper closing of the pores is very important. Clogged pores lead to pimples and black heads. Once they form, they are very difficult to get rid of, and will blemish the overall appearance of your face. A little prevention goes a long way in perfect healthy skin.

The first step is the foundation. Everything from building homes to putting on makeup has to start with a good foundation. Choose a shade that blends with your skin tone. A mismatched foundation will make you look fake. The key to makeup is to enhance and bring out natural beauty, not hide it. Apply the foundation evenly and blend well. You should not have an outline where the bass ends and your skin begins. It should be so well blended and smoothed to the edges of your face, that no one will even know you are wearing makeup.

The next step is concealer. If you have any flaws, this will cover it up nicely. Make sure your concealer is the same tone as your foundation. Otherwise you will look blotchy. As we get older the area under our eyes tend to get a little dark. Concealer will brighten up those areas and make you look years younger. Blending is extremely important. Blend the concealer well. Remember, you want to enhance your beauty, not destroy it.

Then we work on the eyes. The eyes, by many standards are a woman's best feature. Bring out those eyes! Carefully apply your mascara. Let it dry for a few seconds, then brush out your lashes with a dry eyelash brush. A good tip: when your old mascara runs out, keep the brush, wash it thoroughly with soap and warm water, it makes a great eyelash brush. When applying eye liner makeup, you need to make sure you don't go overboard. A thin line at the base of your lashes is all you need. This will draw extra attention to your eyes.

Putting on makeup shouldn't be a chore. Have fun with it. Get your blush brush and brush away. Not to heavy, you don't want to look like a clown. Keep it natural. Brush upwards from your check, along your check bone, almost to your hairline. A big fluffy brush will ensure you don't apply too much blush. This is if you are using a powder blush. Some women prefer a cream. A cream will last longer, but it is much harder to blend into a natural glow.

When putting on lip gloss makeup, you really can't go wrong. Lip stick and lip liner are much more complicated. Lip gloss makeup goes on as easy as Chap Stick and looks much more natural, that is why many women prefer that over lipstick. Lip stick tends to wear off near your mouth leaving you with an ugly rim around your outer lip. Line liner stays on longer than lipstick, so when the lip stick wears off, that ugly rim is even more predominant.
